Living Together Plan
The Urban Youth Games aim to promote integration and inclusion among children through sport. We are pleased that our efforts are supported by the Flemish government and that Urban Youth Games is included as one of the initiatives within the Living Together Plan.
What is the Living Together Plan?
With this action, a local authority can bring children and young people of foreign origin or people with disabilities into contact with sport.
Playing sports together is an ideal way to build a network and learn social skills. It contributes to physical and mental health and provides a safe environment. We want every child to have the opportunity to belong and have fun. Extra attention is paid to sports activities that address social challenges.
